President’s Message

KevinMannWelcome. On behalf of the ERAPPA Board of Directors, 2018 Host Committee, and all the volunteers that make ERAPPA successful, I would like to welcome you to the ERAPPA 2018 Conference website. The 68th ERAPPA Annual Meeting will be held September 30 – October 3, 2018 in Manchester, New Hampshire. Manchester is located along the banks of the Merrimack River and the most populous city in Northern New England. The NNECERAPPA chapter will be the 2018 Host Committee and will be Co-Chaired by John O’Shaughnessy, from St. Paul’s School, and Connie Simmons, from Philips Exeter Academy. The theme this year is "Revitalize.” I think after hearing our keynote and plenary speakers and attending the educational sessions, you will walk away “Revitalized” with new ideas and a renewed energy to help find those opportunities on your campus.

Professional Development. The educational program is unquestionably the premier educational opportunity for facilities professionals on the East Coast. There is a Professional Development Committee who is putting together a great program that will cover topics throughout our industry. Come hear about new ideas, old ideas with a twist, success stories, learn how to be a better supervisor, attend the Supervisors Toolkit, and many other topics of interest. Come see visit our Hall of Resources and continue to learn about new ideas and establish contacts from our Business Partners that can help you resolve problems on your campus or facility. In between sessions, during sessions, at meals, or any other times, network with your counter parts and establish an additional resource to lean on when resolving future problems at your facility.

Educational members and non-members. This conference is for everyone, both members and non-members of ERAPPA. If you are not a member of APPA and ERAPPA yet, learn about the benefits and become a member .. you can get a reduced rate at our conference! There are so many reasons for our facility folks to attend, to include the Hall or Resources, keynote speaker, plenary speaker, educational sessions, networking, and many others. Attend and “Revitalize” your passion for our industry.

Business Partners members and non-members. We really appreciate our business partners! You provide solutions and support to the numerous issues we come across in our daily responsibilities.
